Data is just another word for information.

If someone needs to collect data, they will need a way of doing this. A data collection sheet is a tool for making notes of the data you gather. For example, say someone wants to know how many cars drive down their road compared with the number of vans. A simple data collection sheet would just say

Cars: Vans:

And then they could use this to record the number of cars and vans they see.

A data collection sheet is something you complete yourself.

A questionnaire is something you give to someone else to complete.

A questionnaire must have a question on it for a person to answer. In a GCSE exam, they are expected to have certain properties:

The question must be time-bound They must have at least three check boxes The check boxes must be exhaustive There must be no overlaps between the boxes
